The Dutch law “Wet inburgering in het buitenland” (Law for the integration of immigrants abroad) requires foreign citizens who live abroad and intend to live in the Netherlands to take a test that assesses their integration into Dutch society.

The test consists of two parts: the first assesses knowledge of the Dutch language; the second tests familiarity with the customs of this country.
